I have other quality air purifiers of room size ratings, and I can easily rank this unit as my favorite in terms of user interface, features, and ease of use. I especially like the highly visible numerical display of air quality measured as particle count (ppm) encircled by a corresponding color code (see photos). The display indicator can be turned off in sleep mode. In my case, although I have the unit in my bedroom, the display is not bothersome to me at night. Other units I own by other manufacturers display air quality in terms of a color LED but no quantitative data.
The unit is lightweight and easily carried room to room by its built-in handle. The filter is easily accessed for replacement via a front panel that is held in place magnetically (see pictures). There is an app that allows WiFi control and remote feedback, as well that also provides information about current environmental conditions as well as the air quality metric. It is similar feature-wise to apps for my other purifiers, but was much easier to set-up, and I really like the interface. A QR is provided for ease of downloading the Havaworks app. The manual is straightforward and clearly written.
Today I witnessed the responsiveness of the air quality readout in action. A bagel was accidentally burned in my kitchen, and the Morento readout—although located at the other end of the house—quickly detected the smoke particles not otherwise visible. The unit kicked into high gear (though it was still silent!).
I decided to move it to the kitchen and run it there. The particle count was very high but began to drop fairly quickly (again, see pictures).
The unit is attractive, very well packaged, works superbly, loaded with features including WiFi control. easy to carry, and has an easily accessible filter. This will be my go-to brand if it holds up well over time, which I fully expect given its apparent build quality. I will strongly consider replacing my other units when this time to replace their filters.
